For the Love of Fashion Fusion and Form 2021
POSTPONED UNITL FURTHER NOTICE
For the Love of Fashion Fusion and Form started back in 2017 with a view of small businesses, up and coming designers coming together under one umbrella body to embark on a new journey of training and development, collaborations and networking all for the greater good of our businesses. Each year the collections are featured under specialized themes, bringing out only the best of what young designers across Barbados has to offer from a Christian perspective.
This year, because of the pandemic caused by Covid-19, we have tailored this season's show to be totally virtual, including (5) five local Christian Designers who will showcase clothing, accessories and more, for the purpose of formal, casual or even wedding wear.
This Spring Collection is called "Bloom" simply because the thought is about regeneration, about dynamic skill and interpretation, about nature constantly recreating itself, always growing and evolving, always alive, this is brought about by the designers of this year's showcase.
The symbolism of Bloom is also of newness, freshness and a clear understanding that God the Creator, made us in His image and following His every example, leads us to Bloom only where we are planted. I encourage you through the word of God, to be fruitful, make the best of life even when it throws lemons at you, and do what’s right, even when it’s hard. “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it”
Each of us were created to do something magnificent, and we ought to allow God to will and to do just that in and through us, according to our called purpose in life.
